Visit India’s First 3D Printed Post Office in Cambridge Layout Bangalore

Yes, you read it right, its a 3D printed building. Located in Cambridge Layout, Bengaluru, India’s first 3D printed post office was inaugurated on August 28, 2023.

Formerly known as the Ulsoor Bazaar Post Office, PIN 560008 Cambridge Layout Post Office was completed in 43 days which was scheduled originally for 45 days, under Larsen and Tubro along with the technological support from IIT Madrs Prof. Manu Santhanam.

The overall cost of the building was under 25 lakhs and the Indian govt. is looking forward to create more cost-efficient govt. buildings like this 3D printed post office throughout the country.
The 3d printed post office is structurally not very different considering other buildings but has a signature and texture of its own.
